We know the world is facing some hard times, so we’d like to share the good! With the U Care program, our New U Life family can unite in simple acts of kindness, spread hope, and have a positive impact on the world. U Care is all about supporting communities in need and empowering the most vulnerable in our society.

Last month, U Care announced its first initiative — Hands for Hope, a movement dedicated to passing kindness forward. As part of this movement, New U Life members received a bag of coins and did kind acts to those in need. For each serviceable act, they passed along and tracked their coins to watch those kind acts passed on from person to person.

We were so impressed by the result of this Hands for Hope initiative! We’ve seen hundreds of stories of kind acts that didn’t just impact our New U Life family, but many others all over the U.S! Check out these incredible stories!

Waiting on Hope During a Storm

Hope Warrior: Kate, Texas

Tuesday afternoon, a friend who had lost power for 2 days called me up. I invited her and her daughter over for the evening, to warm up and take a hot shower. The winter storm hit Houston and we have been having the coldest weather recorded here in 122 years. When she left our house, I gave her this hope coin and encouraged her to pass it on to others who are waiting for their hope.

Take my place, I can wait.

Hope Warrior: Darlene, Florida

I was at Hair Cuttery doing a Facebook live when a man walked in. They told him to leave and come back. I stepped in and said, ‘No take my place, I can wait.’ Dave had been there 3 times the day before. So, I figured what a great opportunity to do a random act of kindness. Dave got his hair cut 10 minutes later. He was grateful. I gave him the coin and said, “All I want you to do is pay it forward. Do something nice for someone else today".

I offered to pay for his haircut as well, but he wouldn't accept. It was so random I loved it. One hope warrior.

Sharing the Benefits of Health

Hope Warrior: Jose, Arizona

I shared this coin with a big mentor in my life. We served together and he was and still is my leader. I am indebted to it. I wanted to give him a small token of the Ketogen4® and 2 samples of our “drink to think”.

Giving Hope on an Errand

Hope Warrior: Annette, Indiana

Gerald took a Hands for Hope coin with him when he went to run errands. He stopped at McDonald's and gave the cashier a $50.00 bill and a Hands for Hope coin and told her to pay as many cars orders behind him until it ran out!

The Gift of a Facial

Hope Warrior: Becky, Ohio

A family of 5 kids being raised by their father started helping me and my husband do work outside, all because he was a veteran and disabled for the past 7 years. I decided to treat the 3 girls to facials and gifted them some skin care products.

Cupcakes for the Caregivers

Hope Warrior: Tracy, California

It's been cold and rainy where I live so I decided to bake and made some cupcakes. So that I wouldn't eat them all I took some and a card to my local hospital to give them to the nurses who are working so hard during this pandemic. While I wasn't allowed into the nurse's station, the woman in reception assured me that she would take the cupcakes, card and Hope Coin into the break room for the nurses to enjoy and hopefully one of them will take the coin and pass it on as well! <3
